Window World Cares Partners with Window World of Atlanta for $80,000 St. Jude Children Hospital Donation

In conjunction with Window World Cares, Window World of Atlanta donates $80,000 toward Children’s Cancer Research at St. Jude Hospital.

Atlanta, GA – January 28, 2010 – Window World’s Corporate Sponsored Program, Window World Cares, has matched the generous donation of $40,000 to St. Jude Children Hospital. Much of the total was personally donated by Window World of Atlanta owners, Michael and Melissa Edwards, but the total also included donations from loyal Window World of Atlanta customers and employees. The $40,000 from Window World Atlanta was matched by Window World Cares, creating a grand total of $80,000 for the children of St. Jude.

When asked about her generosity, Melissa Edwards responded, “We have been very blessed, and we feel it is important to give back. Window World Cares will match donations, which is incredible. So, our $40,000 was able to become $80,000. How wonderful is that!!” Michael and Melissa Edwards also frequently give to many other local charities, including Choose Life, the Downtown Rescue Mission, the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children, and many local schools and non-profit organizations. Edwards explained why they chose St. Jude by declaring, “If you have never been to St. Jude, you should go. It is a wonderful place full of hope!”
